[color=#800080]国名：马里共和国（The Republic of Mali） 独立日：９月２２日（１９６０年） 国庆日：９月２２日（１９６０年） 国旗： 呈长方形，长与宽之比为３∶２。旗面由三个平行相等的竖长方形构成，从左至右依次为绿、黄、红三色。绿色是穆斯林崇尚的颜色，马里人近７０％信奉伊斯兰教，绿色还象征马里肥沃的绿洲；黄色象征该国的矿产资源；红色象征为祖国独立而战斗牺牲烈士的鲜血。绿、黄、红三色也是泛非颜色，是非洲国家团结的象征。国徽：呈圆形。圆面为蓝色，中间是一座风格独特的城堡，其上为一只展翅的和平鸽，下方是光芒四射的太阳和两张引箭待发的弓。圆周上方为法文写的“马里共和国”；下方用法文写着格言“一个民族、一个目标、一个信念”。
国家政要：总统阿马杜·图马尼·杜尔（Amadou Toumany Toure），２００２年５月当选。
自然地理：面积１２４万多平方公里。位于非洲西部撒哈拉沙漠南缘的内陆国。西邻毛里塔尼亚和塞内加尔，北、东与阿尔及利亚和尼日尔为邻，南接几内亚、科特迪瓦和布基纳法索。境内大部为海拔３００米左右的台地，较平缓，最东部和中、西部有一些砂岩低山和高原。最高峰洪博里山海拔１１５５米。北部为热带沙漠气候，中、南部为热带草原气候。
人口：１１５０万（１９９７年），９０％是当地黑人，此外还有北非柏柏尔人的后裔和混血种人。全国有２３个部落，班巴拉族（占全国人口的３４．５％）、颇耳族（占１１％）和塞努福族（占９％）为主要部族。７０％以上的居民通用班巴拉语，官方语言为法语。６８％的居民信奉伊斯兰教，３０．５％信奉拜物教，１．５％信奉天主教和基督教新教。
首都：巴马科（Bamako）。
简史：历史上曾是加纳帝国、马里帝国和桑海帝国的中心地区。１８９５年沦为法国殖民地，称“法属苏丹”。１９０４年并入“法属西非洲”。１９５６年成为“法兰西联邦”的“半自治共和国”。１９５８年成为“法兰西共同体”内的“自治共和国”，定名为苏丹共和国。１９５９年４月与塞内加尔结成马里联邦，１９６０年８月联邦解体。同年９月２２日宣布独立，改国名为马里共和国。莫迪博·凯塔任总统。１９６８年１１月１９日穆萨·特拉奥雷中尉发动政变，推翻凯塔政权，成立全国解放军事委员会，掌管国家权力，特拉奥雷任主席。１９７９年３月马里人民民主联盟成立，特拉奥雷当选为总书记。同年６月全国举行总统和立法选举，第二共和国诞生，特拉奥雷当选总统。全国解放军事委员会自行解散。１９９１年３月２５日一批军官发动兵变，逮捕了总统穆萨·特拉奥雷，成立了以阿马杜·图尔尼·杜尔中校为首的全国和解委员会。１９９２年１月，公民投票通过了新宪法，同年４月举行全国大选，阿尔法·乌马尔·科纳雷当选总统，６月宣誓就职，成立第三共和国。
政治：是一个“民主的、世俗的和统一的”的国家。总统是国家元首、政府首脑和军队最高统帅。国民议会是立法机构，实行一院制。部长会议（内阁）各部部长由总统任命。
外交：奉行中立、不结盟的政策。反对强权统治。主要通过和平方式解决国际争端，强调睦邻友好和维护非洲团结。主张在平等、互利和不干涉内政的基础上同所有国家发展关系和进行合作。
与中国关系：１９６０年１０月２５日，马里同中国建交。２００４年７月，杜尔总统对中国进行国事访问。 [/color]
